anyone use Reflex spray on bed liner?

Shop very close to me pushing Reflex spray-on truck bed liner.

I want a professionally applied spray-on bedliner. Reflex product claims to be able to match OEM colors. I had black in mind but now I am seriously considering spraying my bed with "radiant red" to match my truck. I had a chance to feel the product installed on a truck. Very pebbly, rubbery, seemed to have just the right amount of grip, not too sticky, not too slick.

There is also a Line-X shop about twenty minutes from where I live.

Any advice? Anything I should insist upon or watch out for before the job is started? Thanks.

 

What makes you want to do something to the bed liner ? Realize that when you do the warranty is cancelled on it. Maybe just a bed mat would suit your needs ?

 

I didn't 'splain it well, I guess. I have a bare metal bed to start with. I def want a bedliner. From my research and talking to peeps, I don't want a drop-in, hard plastic bedliner. I want a spray-on bedliner such as Line-X, Inyati, Rhino, or the one I am considering - Reflex.

Search here did not reveal anyone here who has used Reflex. I'm going to check out the Line-X shop near me next. I am pretty sure I want to go with a red color to match my truck. Was looking for tips or experience on the Reflex product or any general advice before getting my bed sprayed with this goop. Thanks.

 

Ahh now I see, I am not familiar with Reflex but I have a couple of friends that have Rhino and no problems to speak of, and one of them deals in refurbishing and reselling snowplows,(so really harsh demands) and he says it will really save his truck bed, henchforth save his truck. If Reflex is about the same, then sounds good, the red might be nice.

 

I personally like the LineX, the best, its texture is just right imo. It is also very durable, Ive seen large gouges and scratches in rhino lining, but never anything on LineX. I think a black liner would look good with your red truck, red liner might bee a little too much, but whatever floats your boat, it would be unique though.

 

I hear you. When I went to the Reflex shop and the owner asked me what color I would want, I immediately answered, "black." But after seeing some pics, the red actually changes the appearance of the truck the least since it matches the current color of the bed. Only the texture changes, so at first glance or from a short distance the truck looks the same.

Also, the Reflex brochure caught my attention with, "The response by customers who have chosen a special color over black is so positive, that we routinely encourage our customers to consider this option."

Line-X Xtra is also offered in colors with Dupont Kevlar, and a lifetime warranty. I will be checking out the Line-X shop this week and have the bedliner done soon after that.

so my 05 tacoma bed is badly scratched on the sides and stuff to cover the base i can buy a bed mat but what do i do with the sides?????? repaint?? the pastic if so what kind ??
