    I liked the idea out of Robert A. Heinleins book Starship Troopers.

    Only those who volunteered for military service and completed it were eligible to vote. The idea being that if you volunteered for service you know about putting the good of the whole above your own means. Which unfortunately is how most people vote. For themselves. They don't want to pay taxes or give up certain rights because they're just thinking of their own means.

    Meh...just thinking out aloud.

    Not voting because uneducated to make decision. However, I feel it's a moral responsibility to learn and make a decision. We bring freedom and democracy to these oppressed countries but can't even take the time to properly exercise the right we've been given.

    That's wrong in far too many ways. Learn. Know. Vote.
