Got the blower motor replaced! That damn ticking was driving me :goingcrazy: At least the Stealership said they replaced it. It isn't ticking. But I kept looking into the shop and never seen anyone touching my truck. Then 20 minutes later I saw them pull it out. Tech said they changed it under warranty. I'm skeptical but it's not ticking for now.

Added a set of rear blocks today. Last week put on a leveling kit that was suppose to raise front 1 inch to 1.5 inches and it raised it a total of 2.5 inches. So i got a set of blocks to level it back out.

You are going to really like those tires. The funky sidewall protection takes a little getting used to but it does do its intended function, protect the sidewall better than most others. I have 35K on mine now and the tire dude said they ain't even half worn yet. I stay on the pressure and I did the chalk test on mine to determine the proper pressure and it come out 30 front and 28 rear. I guess that is why Toyota choose 29 as the good enough average for all of them. The wear is even all the way across them and the ride is superb. The Tacoma, got to love it, rides like a Cadillac, drives like a Camaro and you got 4x4 if ya need it (us 4x4 folks anyway). The tires do have the older radial look to them at these pressures but 35K miles later it must be right. :)

Installed my new AFE pro gard 7 yellow filter. Added some hydraulic air bumps to my front end. Doing some Testing to see where I want them to engage I have them a little to close right now, I'll need to adjust them so I get a little more travel before they hit. Ill have pix up tonight or tomorrow.

Im running stock and want to stuff a little bigger tire for some clearance. Its a daily driver so i dont want to screw up my front end and burn through tires and joints like crazy with a POS lift. No money to do a nice rugged lift.

What does the leveling kit do and how does it affect the stance and tread balance?

Leveling kit just raises front to get it close to same height as rear. Front sets lower. Any time you do anything to raise front you need to get alignment. Should cost around 70 to 80 for alignment. Doesn't cost me cause thats what i do at work.

Nice, I did this about a month ago, and the first way I wired it I got DTRLs but I didnt really care about having DTRLs, so I rewired it per the wiring diagram somewhere around here and got the alternating turn signals but lost the DTRLs. For me that was good enough, and was as simple a cutting 2 wires and using a quick connect after I figured out what I was doing and made a complete mess.... I did not install the 2009+ DTRL relay/fuse thing in mine, too much money and work for my 2006, but I think the alternating turn signals are cool.

    Good luck.
