the bottom of the cutoff lines are about 2-3" below the initial headlight mark ( the top of the cutoffs are right at where the initial marks are). According to the link i've aimed them correctly, but driving around they may be a bit high, does anyone know if the top of the cutoff line should be the 2-3" lower or are they talking about the bottom cut off line?

edit : the lower step is supposed to have the 2-3" drop, i think for trucks it'll need to be a little lower than that, i lowered the beam about 4 turns to keep from flashing others, hopefully i'll still be able to light up some road signs... except now without lighting up the guy next to me . :)

How do you adjust the xenons? What do you turn or move?

BTW Looks good. My truck is white too but I think im going with black reflector. Chrome does look good though, gives it a more stock look!

PS which what shrouds do you have?

I ordered the 6000K bulbs and realized they are Philips. In the order form you usually have to pay extra for Philips.... Anyone else notice that they got better or different bulbs?

Will the projectors be alright if I put them back in the oven to pull everything back apart?

You adjust the lights as you would normally :

    http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/61-2nd-generation-2005/199139-headlight-aiming.html

I was going to paint my bowls black as well but I ended up not doing it , I love the way they look , really gives them the retrofit look when they're all black. I'm running the apollo shrouds. I thought they were too big but once I got them in I think they look good, nit too small or big.

You'll be fine putting the projectors back in the oven, just make sure you take the bulbs out or it'll fog on you.... Now I have hard water stains in my projector.... Ugh.

I've got a heat gun too but I'm not sure how long I'd have to stand there and blast the housing.

I ordered a new set of shrouds since I didnt like the gattling gun. So I thought I'd offer them for sale before I return them in the next few days.

Im asking $40 + shipping (probably $5). Thats basically what i get if i return them. If anyone wants NEW shrouds Ill pass on the savings of $15 or so.

They are Gatling Gun $50 at TRS http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?cPath=30&products_id=72

OK! They're in. They seem to shine a bit low... did anyone else have to adjust their lights upward? Is there a link for the process of adjusting these to the correct height?

I also just did the "EVO" mod... which I love. I used Plastidip spray, just in case I didnt like it, so I'll be doing a more permanent version here soon.

    What do you guys think?

I painted the reflector bowl with Plastidip as well... I'm thinking about tearing back into everything and going with the Chrome reflector and shrouds. Would have to buy new shrouds.

I can't find the post of the guy selling his Gatling Gun Shrouds... if you see this, would you take $40 shipped?
