    Well the verdict is in....

The truck is pretty much totaled :bananadead:. The adjuster said that it is at a 70% lost. State farm totals out vehicles at 75%. He told me that I will be receiving another phone call about them trying to fix it but for me to tell them the frame is messed up and they will go ahead and total it out. His estimate for repair at the moment is around $11,000 and the retail value is around 15k.

So at this point I'm hoping for it to be totaled so I can get a check and move on.

I took the wheels and tires off right before he showed up and I'm glad because it would have lowered the % which would cause it not be as totaled so to say.

Holy crap. For being hit by a dumptruck I'd say your Taco is in pretty good shape. Glad your ok.

I'm amazed that brush guard isn't all kinds of screwed up, it sure FUBAR'd that little vw.

If it wasnt for that grille guard it would of been it a lot worse shape. It bent the brackets like it was nothing. Only damage to the front is headlight brackets, and a new bumper will be needed.
