Yeah...Jon...hes been pretty straight with me so far. I just called downsouth and they recommended kings as well. He said icons would be very stiff at slower speeds awesome at high speed desert running. Said the kings would pretty much be awesome all around. Decisions decisions.

my recommendation is icons due to the fact that i have them personally have them and have fallen in love with them AND that i mainly do high speed desert runs.

For Brian and Matt...since you both run the icons...this notion that they're "stiff" at low speeds...is it really that bad? Would I be able to tell the difference between these and kings at lower speeds?
Also, when I talked to downsouth, they mentioned that the oem replacement icon or king doesn't need servicing like the lt or mt does...is that the case?

Yeah, I found that last night a few minutes after he posted it. I was the first on it, so in two weeks when he gets his LT, if it still sounds like a good idea, ALL MINE.

yeee. I don't see why not though. It pretty much ticks all the boxes. cheap. effective. not going to require a crapton of other mods. I think I may have found a winner.

The seller is running glass, but he said he had to because the lift spindle raised it another 3" and also kicked the wheels out 4". If I run just the kit, no spindle, it should only lift it 4". With 31x10s, i shouldnt have any rubbing. may need to cut the plastic out of the wheelwell, but eh. thug life.

I figure that setup, deaver leafs, and 5100s in the back with trutrac, and thats about as built as I wanna make it. then just do bumpers, lights, etc. :)

Cool man. The 5 luggers have a pretty weak spindle too. But unlike the 6 lug I don't think there gussets available unless custom(as far as I know). Someone could possible make u some gussets. U should see if he wants to sell the spindle too. Just a lil FYI. Otherwise u got the right idea! Gonna be a sick lil taco!

All that the stink bug! My truck sat like that just a lil, but that's all changed now :)

Come on over Johnny, everyone's doing it.....but, since my fenders are still white I have flattened all my hats bills and bought more black socks for summer time short wearing
