Why would you take it to someone to tint when you can use a $6 can of nightshades and spray it yourself? I did it on mine and it turned out great.

I tried it on my ram and jeep and turned out like shit lol. I'm not good with paint so I would rather have someone do it good then have it done bad by me lol

Maybe you can get some towing or hitch lights and just use them temporarily

You could always remove the lights but leave the bulbs hooked to the harness that way the lights would still work properly. You would just have to tape them properly so they are not dangling around.

I called a couple of places and they wanted about 100 to 120 to tint them. That isn't so bad Just wish I could paint right so I could spend the 10 on nightshades and do it myself lol

I know ziebart does it for $100 or $110.:D They do the film. The films nice cause if/when the cops pull you over for it in Mass you can just peel it off instead of dropping bills to get new ones

I never heard of that place before. I never used film before but seems good like you said. Just peel it Off and that's it. I've done my ram tail lights before and made a mistake before and needed to sand them again and that took awhile and pain in the ass lol. I found tail lights to use while I get this done so I'm all set just need to find a place near me that does it. Is that place near Boston lol.

I'll be fine with the cops. I'm not like the little low rider Hondas in my town that has them so black. I just want alittle tint that all, deff not dark. Just a hint.

That's true but I have never gotten a ticket for them. And I have gotten stopped just not for that. I always make sure there still light in them and I buy a tail gate light bar so people can still that too. So its not like I make them all black and call it a day lol I make sure people can still see but I get your point.

Hey Miguel - I don't know if we ended up taking about it, but if you got the chance to check out my tail lights, I'd be more than happy to trade you straight out for your stock ones. Mine came out well and I'd like to do another set. I'll take some pictures of them once I get a chance.
