    Well,

I didn't want to rip $300 from my gear money..... but the wife made me get steps since lifting the truck made it more challenging for her to get in.

I should get them tomorrow, I will post picks.

I dont know why I'm posting this, just makes me feel better to get it out lol.

I was thinking to go avid as well... but a couple of things to think about

    1) They come unpainted, not a big deal if you want to spray can them ($8 a can at wally)
    2) They don't have a flat surface for the heal. Flat foots proly wont mind, but if a gal with heals tries to get it, you are sure to hear about it.

    So I went N Fab

I almost bought some for the same reason (wife) after I lifted my truck. After showing her pics I convinced her that it would make my truck look lower...and I couldn't have that. She finally sided with me

So, I picked them up today, 4WP was able to gett'em next day.

I will bolt them up in a couple of days when I get some time, but I had a question. I haven't read the instructions yet or looked the package contents, but does anybody know if I need to use any loctite for the bolts?

I'm concerned the damn vibes might shake the bolts lose over time.

    Thx

I found the cheapest price I could online...... $280 I think, then I called my local shop and the guys priced matched and had it here in by noon today.

    I called them yesterday.

Ok, installed them tonite in the dark.

The install was easy as you can guess. 5 bolts for each side. I will take pics tomorrow when there is light.

I wouldn't have purchased them if I didn't *have* to, but hopefully they grow on me.
