how do you quote 2 or more quotes at the same time? also, purple power or 409. Just obviously don't get to close to the hoses with pressure washer, or even degreaser.

let the engine cool off and cover any thing that does not need to get wet up with a plastic bag and soak it with purple power or some kind of degreaser and then hose it off or pressure wash it.

Personally, I wait till the motor is cold. Then open hood, then spray everything off with a hose, then close hood, and make sure the truck cranks. Takes maybe 5 minutes. Ive probably done it 5 times with no ill effects.

I think so, the black cover you have to pry off? We'll find out if we can go riding sunday or not, and if not then I will lend you a hand. I know I could have used some help the first time I attempted it.

I've powerwashed my engine bay everytime we have gone. Everything now a days is sealed well enough...(except Matt's Hid's). You used to have to cover the distributor cap to keep it dry. Like said before, do it while the truck is cold.

ya the black cover you have to pry off. I've looked at how to and my brother has done it before and my dad has to. but not me. and what better way to meet up, chill and work on a truck and meet a member!?!
EDIT: also dad will be over with helping hand as well. He'll have more tools than me. But i do need to get a 36mm 1/2 inch drive for the cv bolt.
