Metallic objects, yes. It would have to be extremely strong to have an effect on a human.

There are also light and sound devices which repel humans and animals.

um, I was actually making fun of the mayan predictions, but, thanks for clarifying that.

 

Your welcome. I figured I would help out those who don't have a clue. And it goes far back than the Mayan's. Granted they play a big deal in the "predictions" but it also deals with the fallen angels from heaven. Again, CLARIFYING that for those who don't know.

 

In order to populate other worlds (which we'll have to one day), we'll need to travel in extremely fast speeds. Even if we found a way to travel at half the speed of light, a space craft hitting a grain of sand would be instantly annihilated. E=mc^2 is a bitch.

It will be necessary to have some type of force fields or shields to protect our vessels.

 

Please, clarify for those of us who "dont have a clue". Thanks professor.

To clarify that would mean to go completely off topic than what this thread is for. But it goes far in depth on the matter that most people don't realize or know. I'm not calling anybody dumb, so I'll apologize if it came off that way.

And time travel would be really cool, however, that will never exhist. If it did we would have already been visited by an invading force from the future. From what I learned of how different dimensions work, time itself would not allow it. If somebody knows better I would actually like to learn it.

But if that could actually be done, why has nobody from another dimension or time period (If I picked up on what the video above demonstrated) visited this dimension/ time period yet? There are plenty of reasons why someone would. My only guess is the butterfly effect?
