@Colin, I really like the second in Selective color, it really does make that one pop very well. But as for the first, I like them both, I like the full color better in the first. But thats my opinion.

This is true...the reception is going to be in a basketball gym :( so that doesn't help. I still gotta talk to her about what she wants in the photos. I am most likely using the money she is paying me to purchase the lens.

I think selective coloring only really works if there is a strong contrast between the colors

I agree with you, with that those two photos do "pop" with the selective coloring

It's pretty cool. You can't preserve data though that's the only thing. BUT the effects are WAY better than anything Lightroom puts out. If Lightroom had editing features of snapseed then it would be perfect lol

    Like I said above.

It does the EXACT same thing as it does for iPad/iPhone. Except you can edit a photo in RAW

One shot or a pano? This looks fake to me. Kinda cool processing you did there.

Almost looks like a fish eye lens was used.

More than likely, if it's in a church, it will be dark. 2.8 or better plus high ISO is your only hope *if* the church does not allow flash photography.

Also, arrange for some time after the ceremony to get some shots of the ring, officiant and what not.

Nope.. One shot... It's very real.

Nikon D700 and Nikkor 14-24mm gets you some REALLY wide shots. And this is actuall cropped down a bit to adjust for the crooked photo. It normally looked wider (didn't have my tripod)
Hahaha yes very random! You can see this is more my place of comfort

    Hahahaha yeah seriously! Lol

Crazy they're already coming out with th d7100 when d7000 is in such high demand rign now.... And it's still a BEAST camera.

But if a d7100 does come out then I will be looking into getting a d7000 body to use for my second body.

Yeah, after asking over on POTN and here, and with some more thinking I think I'm going to go with the 2.8. It better suits my needs right now, and it will be my walk around lens the majority of the time. They said over on POTN that owning an L doesn't mean that is best for your applications. So im going to go with the 2.8 and save some money and maybe look into getting a 480ex (??) flash for it.
