    well today i got home from work to find the nice grassy areas next to and behind my house completely destroyed! i bought this house because of the grass behind and beside it!!! now i find out that the area is going to be used for construction shit for possibly the next 5 years! i wanted to sell this house in 3 years and now it wont be worth anything:mad::mad::mad: and why the hell did i not hear anythign about this?!?!?!

    grr rant done.

    Is this in an easement? If so this would have been a part of your title report/commitment that should have been approved prior to closing.

    i just looked at all the paper work from buying the house in september, shows that the land beside is/was private/commercial land so it could have went either way. more houses, parking lot, etc. still pisses me off though :mad:

    lol damn you! the only good thing about it is they are finishing my fence from the back corner of the house all the way up the front to the street. gotta look at the positives right! :)

    I would find your title policy from your purchase. I am not as familiar with the title policy that is provided/available in Canada but I would sure pull that information out for further review.

    will check into that. just talked to my neightbour and they said that it was owned by the builder of the subdivision i'm in, they sold it to the hospital for the contstruction of the new cancer center and add on. oh well i will just have to hold the house a lil while long then sell it to one of the people who works at the hospital!!

    ya thats what i hope, my neighbour is a nurse and she loves it here since its a 5 min walk to the hospital!
