I've been around guns all my life. Grew up in Fayette County PA, right along the Maryland/West Virgina border (home of the whiskey rebellion, 1794). I was always tramping around the woods with my .22 rifle, I still have it. Hunted with my dad, uncle, and cousins. Shot my first two deer with a Winchester '94, which I also still have. I always treated my firearms like friends, I trusted and respected them. Don't hunt anymore, would like to shoot more. Have a permit and pack a .380 Ruger. Don't understand the anti-gun people except that they never had the opportunity to shoot, and the gun has been tainted by the dirt bags and druggies. My one regret in life, and I mean it, is that I was never in the military to serve like many of you have. I believe I missed a lot. There thats my Valentines day disertation.

Paul, you are still a true Patriot regardless if you served in the military or not.

    Amen to that!

Collector and shooter here. Still love my M1 carbines the most - have 3 and might be buying 4th on Friday to fit into the collection. My concealed carry is a Kimber Ultra CDP II in .45 cal with JHP ammo. It's what you carry when you want to send the very best. :)

 Mornin' folks! ... Ken, Jim, Tom and the rest of you fine people!

Weather has been staying surprisingly warm. Gets above 28F with all the snow/ice we've got on the ground, and things get down right messy. My truck is filthy...need to cave and get it washed...but it's so frustrating 'cuz one commute to work and it looks the same again..."filthy". We call this "fake break-up"...'cuz ya just know another cold spell is coming before the real break-up.

God Bless you and yours! Have a great day! :oldglory:
