What Grit Sandpaper do you guys suggest I use?
And do you just scratch the hell outta it? or sand all the chrome paint off and then scratch the hell outta it?

I can't find the spray stuff that everyone else uses so I gotta sand it.

    Help please

all you really need to do is just scuff it up a bit so the paint sticks better, use krylon fusion paint as its made for plastic like the emblems are

i used 400 grit and got krylon fusion paint. It is made to adhear to plastics so no need for the promotor. And all you need to do is just rough it up alittle.

You dont need to use adhesion promoter, i used 160grit sand paper, scuffed it up just a bit used krylon fusion and a clear coat thats it and my emblems have held up real nice for almost a year.

And now im thinking even that was to much...
were just scuffing the hell outta it... why would you use 2000 grit wet sand?

If you don't is it more likely for the paint to come off?
