The techs I worked with at the Toyota dealership had all come from domestic dealerships. They told me they worked 20% or less warranty work. At the domestic dealership it was over 50%.
Do those numbers tell you anything?

...It just baffles me why people want to buy a vehicle that requires them to bring it in for repairs constantly ...Regardless of whether or not you have to pay for the repairs bc it's under warranty. My time is worth more to me.

My girlfriend currently has a Jeep Compass that she bought before we met. As soon as we get married I'm getting her out of that thing ASAP. It's about to turn 60k miles which means it's going to start falling apart soon. Not to mention that thing has depreciated almost 30% in the last 2 years since she bought it.

    Very delicately.
It's kinda like trying to get her to wear a seat belt.

I was stopped one time for a brief chat by a traffic cop. He informed me I was doing 52 in a posted 40 and commented on my mother not wearing her passenger seat belt. I told him my mom was 82 years old, had he ever tried correcting his mom at that age?

He just smiled and let me go.

I think its just luck of the draw. Ive seen plenty of posts of lemon Toyotas and their TSB issues on this forum. Ive personally owned a tj unlimited, a liberty, and a commander, and just bought my wife a new jk (2 door :D) and have never had any serious issues with any of them. Maybe Ive had better luck or taken better care of my jeeps than some have, but when the most Ive spent in repairs is on a transmission sensor in the Commander that was leaking at 60k+ miles I consider that to be decent quality.

That being said OP, others are right, chances are you will get blamed for every problem the vehicle has if you force her into something she doesnt choose for herself. If you're just trying to help her make an informed decision, just google TSB issues for each vehicle shes looking at. The brands do enough to promote their vehicles good sides...

Tell her it's a Dodge product and then ask her if she knows what Dodge stands for.

    Dips
    Oil
    Daily,
    Get
    Evaluated

In all seriousness, check out a Consumer Reports review on any Dodge.

That's how I decided on my Tacoma.

Most of them are nice and have little issues until they start hitting 60k+ miles then they start falling apart. It's long term reliability that I'm concerned with. 103k miles on the Tacoma and all I've replaced is the battery, brake pads, tires, and fluid changes. My Honda accord I had before the tacoma had over 210k miles on it when I sold it to buy the truck and I estimated I only spent about $400 total in repairs in the 6 years and 100k+ miles I owned that car.

Jeeps aren't Dodges. Same parent company with some shared components but different brands. Some jeep models are actually currently being made in Italy which is totally wierd to me.

My take on any vehicle is read Consumer's Guide, car evaluations. The stats are per actual owners, not the publisher's gut feel. The funny striped circles in the chats is what sold me on my first Toyota. Very satisfied Toyota owner, '93 Toyota pickup (bought used), and '06 Toyota Sienna (bought new). Very pleased with both. :)

Since she's a woman, show her a Taco and all the drink holders and generous storage spots (including behind the rear seat and in the bed)... Then show her a Jeep and ask her where she would put all her stuff.

FYI I didn't buy my Tacoma for the cup holders. I bought the Tacoma because of my boss constantly sending pics of Tacomas surviving the dessert during the war. Not all of us need storage space for stuff, I have a back pack for that. Funny how I'm always asked to hold someone's wallet, though.
