had the 5100's put on two weeks ago and had a better ride than stock, put new wheels and tires on saturday with bfg at and what a shitty ride. was it going from 16's to 17's, would tc ucs with the uniball help along with camburg coilovers. i want those anyways but just can't let go of that much money. i have had bfg at before and the ride was not this bad.

    getting there....
probably a combination of tire size, the fact that they are bfg at's, and where the shocks are set at. the higher you have the shock set, and with that heavy of a tire(those bfg's are pretty heavy) can make for a pretty stiff ride.

balance is good, no vibration, at least not below 85. stiff ride when hitting pot holes and such, i will get it aligned again. had it aligned after the billys were put in and it was sweet. tire pressure is set at 35#, that was the first thing i checked and 4wheelparts had them set at 40#. are you guys trying to talk me out of buying new coilovers and uca's. i love you guys and thanks for the info.

If it's a stiff ride that you are referring to? Then try lowering the tire pressure.
But if it's poor handling? Then you need a set of UCA's.

BFG's have a 3 ply sidwall. Much more stiff on the road, as the sidewall has less flex to absorb the bumps.

They will get your alignment back in spec, and may help a little.
