i did the skyline ride with my uncle in his jeep around this time last year. it has some creek riding (probably alot now with all the rain). we rode two different loops. the first one i think everyone in the group could make pretty easy, but the second loop would be a struggle. there was a stock rubicon that made it but it was tuff for him. you need at least 33's and lockers on the second loop. it was a cool place to ride though.

Yeah, the guys over at Mud are a good crew. I'd venture a guess that any wheeling they do is probably not prerunner friendly.

Check out the rigs I posted links to. That's the kind of stuff probably 75% or better of the folks over there drive.

I will let you know when I go, like I said before it will be sometime in march though. Anyway it looks like you might need a couple of weekends before you can go again. I don't wish my daughter getting sick, but it probably saved me some money saturday.

Yeah I have the same winch minus the rope.. But No I didn't yet.. I got some think as gear lube called Green Gear Lube when I was replacing my T-Case so I plan on doing it soon. While I'm at it i'll do the drive line swap on it and might buy some Synthetic rope to top it off... I'm tired of having that gigantic fairlead sticking out the front of my bumper and that adds a good 40 lbs or more to the weight!

    Here.. Check this out..

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/product-reviews/85301-smittybuilt-xrc-8-maintenance.html

Damn... I've been on this forum WAY too long! I've got this info subbed off in a different folder and a lot more information to grab at anytime! Comes in handy though for times like these!

 He splashed it through that last hole but didn't go in the one I got stuck in..

Props to Alex for wheeling the best! 2wd and WOT!

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
alright guys. almost done with this insurance fiasco. The guy buying it owns a shop (the guy that paints brians grills). Once this is finished, he and I are going to take all the stuff off of it at his shop. Any one wanna help us if and when the time comes? The elusive de-mod might actually happen.
