    Anyone do these?

    Or interested?

I'm going to do the tough mudder Oct 20th (might do the june one to)

    http://toughmudder.com/events/

I just found out about the spartan race going to do it in april 21st

    http://www.spartanrace.com/indiana-obstacle-racing-spartan-sprint-2012.html

Never been a big runner but slowly getting into it for multiple reasons, figured this would give me a good reason to push, stay in shape, etc.

So anyone done one? Or interested in doing one? I wouldn't mind going with someone.

I was supposed to run the Warrior Dash this past Saturday in Central Florida, but ended up going to my boss's funeral instead. Been training since September, lost 40 lbs, etc. Scheduled to run a 5K every month this year.

Point is, my ultimate goal is the Tough Mudder in December, over in Tampa. I assume it'll be in December, as it was last year.

December 2nd... I'm so salivating, but I don't know if I'll have enough vacation time to spend three weeks plus back home...

I definitely want to do TM though!

    Warrior Dash? Meeh...

I'm signed up for the July Tough Mudder at Mount Snow, VT. So far I have a team of 11 people :D

A co-worker of mine is doing 3 Spartan races this year (can't remember which 3 but one is around 12 miles long).

Tough Mudder was fun. did it as a group so only went as fast as the slowest person. Will do it again next year. Warrior dash was fun but super easy... It was funny how it's promoted as the "craziest day of your life"... Must be some boring lives... Spartan dash looks fun and if wasn't in Miami I would have done it. Just don't wear anything you like to it, cause it will be dirty and/or ripped when your done!

    Do it and enjoy!

We had a group from work wanting to do the WD, which is why I signed up. Plus, I've not run a race like that before. It's too bad I had to miss it, but it sounded like i didn't miss much anyway. I'm focused on the Tough Mudder now.

Once I get to the point where I can do the Mudder, I think it would be cool to do them all around...use it as an excuse to travel more.

Two things - how are you ending up in Orlando from Hawaii for this? And I've never done anything like this, and with only 3 months to go, could I be ready in time?

I'll be on leave around that time, and I'm from Orlando...so it set up perfect for me and this race/event.
**No Problem, just start concentrate on cardio and muscle fail and walk long long distance so your feet and legs are use to constently walking with out a break, and you'll do fine. :)**

Unfortunately, only a handful of 5K's. I've really only been training since September, as that's when I got serious about my health. I'm 100% dedicated to my health now, but I'm afraid that only 3 more months would not be nearly enough for the GoRuck. As I've said in previous posts, my goal for this year was my first Tough Mudder in December in Tampa.

I will train my ass off and see where I stand in a month or so. I have another goal, and that's to do the GoRuck, I am just not sure if the one in May is doable for me. I will be sure to keep you posted on my progress as I would be honored to be your teammate.

Awesome, if you cant do May, I think Tampa has one at a later date....but I'm not 100% sure.

U R kinda late for that GoRuck. If you did a mild push, you could complete a Marathon (26.2) by December and I ain't joking.

I have no interest in running a 26.2, or longer EVER. But I do want to be a kickass sub 8 min split half marathoner. And get better at trail races, of course.

Stay with your goal and ask for help when in doubt!
