Thanks man, Ill be glad to have my front bumper back on and get started building the crossmember for the rear shocks and getting started on my bedrack and all them goodies!

    Sounds good man, whatcha thinking?

That makes 3....Im going to be swamped and you would need to fund me a trailer hitch :p
Im using my factory hitch and cutting it up to fit in there

Heres some mock-up pics of the "filler-plates" for the bumper and some pics of what i got done with how im going to be mountinhg my skid back up to the front bumper

Also notice the drastic upgrade in the skid plate bolts...I moved up from the stock bolts to 1/2 so i shouldnt have anymore issues with bending bolts :D

Looks good! Did you figure out what to do about filler plates for the ends?
Are you welding those tabs to the back of the crossmember?

Actually after making these filler plates i think it will change the look enough to where you wont hardly notice the back parts being open still...doesnt do anything for that PITA tree branch that wants to shoot up in there but i plan to plate the top as well once i get my winch in & yes ill be welding the tabs to the inside of the bumper crossmember so the crossmember and skid flow into eachother evenly and the nuts for the bolts will be welded around the backside of those tabs as well

I will work on the filler plates for the ends after i get it all put back onto the truck..probably use 10ga since it doesnt need to be strong really, Im more worried about blocking the airflow to the rad

    Bumper is now re-installed :D

Ended up having to drill some holes in the bumper crossmember for the skid so i tacked the nuts to the back of the crossmember then got to the install!
    DSCF1017_8951d4861e92673173165939257705a219bc587f.jpg

Still gotta go get 2 more bolts for the outsides of the skid but the new 1/2 bolts should suffice in holding it in place this time around

    DSCF1030_e3193deea5d1913b8bc65e97ed7c9a380b69b265.jpg

    Got it all welded up

    DSCF1021_28dcf205d849b1cd83e4ac3f0e36727b6301a566.jpg
Welded all along the sides, bottom and top of the crossmember

It now sits in closer to the truck about 3" so im super happy with how it turned out and the new way of mounting the skid!

    Heres some random pics

keep in mind that they cut the frame and had to make a crossmember from scratch. Sure glad I took it in their shop to have it mounted!! What's your's measure?

What size tires are you looking at going to? Truck looks damned good!

Yours look like its in about the same exact place mine is now, mine may be a tad closer but it damn sure looks way better than it did before when it stuck out like crazy... mine is exactly an inch closer than yours at 3 1/2 so hopefully my winch is going to fit in there without messign with the grill to much
    DSCF1039_ea6862dd3b96bfbbb2fe22cb014b69dde50fa9cb.jpg

Oh and btw having the skid bolted up to that crossmember is (.Y.) !

Oh and i also removed my diff drop because the skid moved up about 1" so it was deff hitting on the diff but all is good now and im sure once i put a winch on the cv angles will be golden, They still arent to close yet but ill probably add the wheelers 10mm enhancer eventually when i order the extended rear brake line

I wanna goto something around a 33 probably will get treadwrights but i just aquired a new set of 15" wheels so ill probably rock a set of trail tires and then some A/T DD tires in the same size
