Florida B.S. Thread

A few months ago I came home from work (in July), it was 90 something degrees outside and our roommate had turned off the A/C inside the house. It was 87 degrees inside our house and she was walking around in her swimsuit. My Dog, a Samoyed and Shiba Enu mix (snow dog) was inside there. It was a daily war over the temp inside because they where always trying to keep it at or above 80.

I keep my apartment at 75.

 

Got some ink done.

 

Looks really good. I am sure there is some kind of meaning behind them, care to explain or no?

 

doesn't it mean as a member of the Navy he has crossed the Atlantic ocean or something like that?

hmm roommate in swimsuit? don't get me wrong, i love my dogs, but they'll survive, just make sure there is plenty of water

 

well my wife has a lot of tattoo and i have been slowly trying to catch up to her. And we both have a strict no names policy for tattoos but i wanted something to represent her and than for my daughter. So thats why i got 2, one for my wife and one for my daughter.

The traditional sea sparrows are for traveling 5000 miles in the sea. But since i am not on a boat i can't really claim that one.

 

Cool. I've been watching LA Ink lately. Those guys are amazing.

 

to make me sound not like a total pig, i lived in the cayman islands for about 2 years, and my roommates and I were so cheap, we didn't wanta turn on the AC, much or at all, and when we did, 82 was when we were feeling luxurious

 

ya i watched that show a lot back home. I am going again sunday to get another tattoo done. But it will take a couple of days to finish so i am going sunday to do the outline.

 

Where'd you have your ink done?

I was pissed about the A/C, I came home and my dog was panting and had finished all her water. Like I said, she's a snow dog so the heat aint that good for her. Especially inside where there is no circulation. I get wanting to save money, but all that did was make it so we had to cool the house back down from 87 to 80, which cost a hell of a lot more than just leaving the A/C on. Don't know how long the A/C was off, but it was obvious my Dog was not happy.

 

i hear ya, it's crazy how we love our dogs so much, i tell my fiance that i love jack (1 of our dogs) more and more each day, and that my love for her stays the same, he's always sweet, and doesn't nag me all the time.
