    I agree with IdahoNomad the most frustrating part was the people doing things that got everyone in trouble. We had a guy shit in the middle of our perimeter of foxholes during our FTX. We had to form a circle around that pile of shit and stay in the prone position until the guy who did it come forward. Worst thing about it was there was no TP in the immediate area......

    From my experience it depends how long your AIT is. Mine was 9 months long and eventually we were allowed civilian clothes (after class/work) and weekend passes. This was assuming you were passing your classes, staying out of trouble and the drills are in a good mood. We weren't however allowed to have personal computers i our rooms, but like I said this will probably depend on your situation.

    I graduated today from BCT. It was a blast finishing up the training I had left. Vic Forge was awesome even though i never got to sleep. :D

    Just letting yall know how AIT is. i love it. I also found out why i couldn't find any 91S on here. the week i graduated BCT the very first class of us graduated.

    What helped me make it though was having fun with it. It was one of my most enjoyable times in the army. You will be new, unknowing and love everything. I smiled alot, to the point the ds would make me do pu until i stopped, just to show them they didnt get to me.

    Basic is FUN. Just remember, everything they do and teach you is for the better, and will make you stronger (even if it really sucks) like doing push ups during shower drills....Wtf. It make you comfortable with frontal male nudity..WTF


    But you have already graduated so....

    I've been done with tradoc for a while now. I love my first duty station. Alot of people have mixed feelings on Wainwright but IMO its a country boys paradise. (Only if you take advantage when everything isn't frozen. I learned cross country skiing is pretty demanding but I felt great after relaxing in the hot springs where the tour started at.
