Breakfast for dinner tonite. 6 egg ham and cheese omelet, corned beef hash and English muffs.

 

^^^Nice looking food as usual guys. I have done no cooking since vacation in Fl. Did some fishing though!!!!

 

Just doing some simple Turkey Brats and Sauerkraut on the grill tonight.

First meal on my slow cooker!!!!! It's called Chicken with Gravy...i pretty much followed a recipe with the exception of a few things:

instead of cooking it for 6 hours on low, i cooked it for 3 1/2hrs on high. I added cayenne pepper and cheese afterwards (not pictured) and spinach on the bottom

pretty hearty meal..

Scotch eggs, my first shot at them, turned out pretty well. delicious pork wrapped around soft boiled eggs

 

That looks like something I can get used to. I will have eggs 3 times a day.
How do you keep the egss soft while baking/cooking/frying the pork around it?

Thanks guys,. Boil the eggs in the shells (hard boil style) but remove them before they are completely cooked, maybe 4-5 minutes. then put them in an ice bath to cool. when they are cool, peel them. gently wrap ground pork around them (kind of roll them around in your hands) and then flour, egg wash, and bread crumbs. Then deep fry at 350, only fry long enough to cook the pork and form a crust, if it goes too long the yolk will cook.

I got the idea from an English style pub, any they use hard boiled eggs with the yolk cooked all the way thru. i like it a little more runny, but i understand they do it that way to save time when prepping the item.
