I didnt know he spent time at both, just knew he had a stint with Yokomo, and when TRI mentioned Yokohama, well you see where this went.

Looks like a pretty calm day, with temps in mid sixties, so, I'm going to fly.

Kinda new to the air thing, (raced surface for 25 yrs), I started with a MCX, then a CP (older version of a SR, basically) it was way over my head at the time. Picked up a SR120, love that little heli, and that's the one where it all came together. Now I can fly, not master the CP, but, really it's a pile compared to the new stuff. Have been hovering a T-Rex 450, of a buddies, to which I'm gonna buy soon. Also have a plank trainer of some sort, Easy Star, I think, it's alright, but really kinda boring to me.

That's why I have the MCPX...it's my trainer cause if I crash it doesnt cost much if things broke.

    Started with cheap 3 channel
    Then
    Blade MSR
    Blade MSRX
and now the MCPX...all within like 2 months...yes I have issues

around the time when Losi was releasing the 8ight, IIRC was when he left Losi to go to Kyosho. Now he is part owner of AKA tires.

I flew a MSR for a few weeks, fun little indoor heli. It's been dropped I think, MSRX took it's place (flybarless, correct)? My main "issue" is, I've been without a job since last June, and things are getting tight around here. That's why I'm holding off on the purchase of the 450 for now. But it's not going anywhere, it's a good friends' he's got another, along with a 550, and a new 600 and countless planes. Sounds like my charger just went off, I'm out for a while.

MSRX did replace the MSR and is flybarless. But it is no where near the MCPX. That little heli is a beast. I like flying it better cause the controls are very accurate. It can handle the wind outside too. I had the MSRX for like 2 weeks before I sold it to a buddy. I would love to one day get a 450. Blade will be releasing a 300 X which is likely my next step. There is a cool video on youtube

Taking a break from working on the track currently.

All of the corners have been re-tilled and raked, I've got 2 jumps finished and a tabletop started.. This is hard work.

Yeah as long as you know how to soldier...it just took about a month or so for the led back panel to come in from Hong Kong! Check it out....

That's pretty sweet...I just realized that I fly in the day and would not need it. I'm too lazy to do something like that. LOL

I fly in the day as well, but there are days when it is cloudy outside and it is hard to see. Makes it a ton better, and it is only $7 to do...

What I have a problem with, is, while wearing polarized sunglasses, that LCD screen just turns into a oily looking smear. Wonder if a backlight would help that?

Yeah I know what you mean. I don't think it would help though, because in the sunlight you can't even see the back light very well. Buy on a cloudy day, works wonders!
