    Climbing rope is crazy strong but for that kind of thing you would want static rope that way it does not stretch under the load. Stretching the rope can actually wear it out faster. There are steel anchors bolted on top of the ridge and if you look closely they get down by using the access to rope they have on their belts.

    Me too but we need to find a quality 80 meter static line. They were also using a secondary 9mm line as well. By what I can see a 10-12mm static with a 9mm dynamic backup.
