    yeah they do watch those ports pretty closely, especially the cable companies. Qwest isn't as bad, but i know they still watch them.

    ouch, that would suck.

    i know a kid who came back from class at ISU and the computer people had confiscated his computer and the nearly 1 TB of pirated software, movies and music. The total $ on it was estimated at over $1 mil.

    i only upload while the stuff is downloading and then cut it off when i'm done. I've also limited the kb upload to like 20k

    they also only track the uploads because then they get you for distributing it. downloading it doesn't carry near the penalty as distributing it.
