yea i want to put 2 5 gallon tanks where the spare goes because I'm eventually getting a tire gate.

 

10 gal of air is just major overkill..weight you don't need..

you don't need that much air...even to run tools..5 gal is enough for that..

 

I'm also going to need to air up 35" tires.

Meh, there will be so many ppl there with air I'm not worried. Plus..Jon and i rode EVERYWHERE on air downed tires in Lander..not that big a deal..hell i probably won't air up all weekend.


and dude..CO2 will do that faster. And two tanks won't really help with that anyways..

 

That is crazy. I would go for a good compressor and a single tank. Run the dual piston arb compressor and a tank. It is a 100% cycle compressor and has more than enough power to run multiple tools at once and fill tires.

Two tanks is just a waste of money, space and weight.

 

I'm gonna leave mine aired down all weekend. And I'm gonna put in an air tank and a water tank for a fresh water source. That is what I am going to sleep underneath.

 

there is always a better way to do something I don't want CO2 I have no where to store it in my REGULAR CAB and I'm not leaving it in the bed.

 

Im putting mine in the bed..as do most ppl...haha

a small pump and huge tank capacity..isn't worth it IMO..I was thinking about getting the dual ARB for awhile. Im gonna go CO2 tho now..

 

I haven't decided on a pump yet but most likely a dual vlair set up.

 

looked at those too..they seemed decant..just make sure to try and get a 100% duty cycle.

 

Here's my reasoning for having 10 gallons of air... ready?
When I graduate I want to take a 2 month trip from devils tower to death valley to the baja 1000 without using highways of at all possible. it's better to have two if one breaks down.

 

I agree with this. I think ill add OBA at some point for back up. But i still say two tanks is too much.

cause really, even if the tanks break..your pump will still air up tires..

 

what if my pump breaks? at least i'll have 5 gallon at 125psi on the ready
