Well its been awhile since I posted anything ...... I ran got it up and running but I didn't like my rear pinion angle at all. So im waiting for my tax return and im going to buy a new raerend with 5.38 gear and maybe a locker if I can swing it. I got some pictures of more flexing nothing special ill try to get them up in the next couple of days. Also found that I need to make a new steering shaft to enhance my steering a bit.

Has anybody ran a atlas 4.0 t case. Im thinking about doing one instead of a marlin case setup. Any thoughts or reviews

Total newb question regarding the atlas 4. I dont have much experience with gears but it seems to me the jump from 3.8 to 10.3 is pretty steep. It would be nice to have something in between there. With the other gearing, it seems like the 5.44 might not be low enough for extreme extreme stuff. Wish the other case had the 5.44 in it between the big gap.

So my question is, would it be a good idea to get in inchworm 2.28 crawl box and mount the atlas 4 with the 5.44 gearing case on there? Then you would have super low and everywhere in between. Does that sound like a good idea? Is it even possible?

Pretty sure you cannot mount it, don't beleive there is any adapter plates out there. Also a 3.8 is pretty low. and a 10.3 is yeah... There really isn't a need for a middle gear which is why I believe they didn't make one. But who knows

Well ive been looking at the marlin taco box. I might have found a deal on one but im waiting to hear back on if the guy wants to sell it. So for half the price my truck end up with a taco box.

As far as my truck goes. I got new u-joints for the steering shaft. I'll put them into tomorrow and work out my steering issues. I found running one joint tends to bind up at full droop.

    here some pictures

37's tuckin nicely with stock fender cut.

Lol. I took them off to dick around with my brakes and I havnt put them back on. On my ground clearance deal the mtr I have are small like really small. So I don't think I have very good clearance.

Picked up a baja style bed cage this pass week. I need to order a new steering shaft set up and also get to new rear end setup.

I probably have another month before I get to go play in it.

    Its all just money
