Light bar and bumper guard, 3/16 steel skid plates for engine, tranny and transfer box, OME 881 springs with 5100 shocks at mid clip. AAL in rear. Positraction rear diff.
You need to drop the skid plates, raise the hood and see where the oil is coming from. Is it motor oil?, power steering oil?, air compressor oil, Brake fluid? Brownish oil tells me it's probably motor oil. Maybe from the oil filter. I have no ideal why there was a pop unless the filter fell off and bounced around.

it might just be motor oil that has collected on the skid plate. happened to me a couple times.

If there is no oil on your dipstick DONT RUN THE MOTOR!

Find out where the oil is leaking from.

Maybe you blew a rear main seal?? :notsure:

It's ok to run it without oil for a few days. Just don't go a few weeks. Toyota's are one of the few vehicles that oil is actually an option.
