WTH tire size are they trying to fit there?

I've seen several firewalls tubbed for 35"s that took far less cutting than that.

I think I came up with a pretty decent solution for the windshield washer reservoir. The PVC pipe solution would not work with my skid plates it appears. I think I can cut off the bottom of the tank and the lower 3". I can then move the pump up higher and make a new tank bottom out of some HDPE sheet from McMaster-Carr. I will then have to shorten the black cover, it should fix the issue and utilize the stock location, fittings and mount points.

Haha you still had a ways to go.
That was on my 3rd gen 4runner. I was tubbing the fenders for 315/75. May have been a bit overkill but rather just have to do it once. fnder_e2c8b13c43bb9c5e19605f9de77c9f28fb45c30a.jpg

Oh I see. All the cutting was because you used the store bought inserts... (at least that's what it looks like.) Looks good though!! plenty of room i bet!!

It still rubbed after flattening it, so I cut the damn thing off.

I was noticing that I look a little nose low today, maybe because it was parked facing downhill in the driveway.

My 255's cleared just fine after flattening the pinch weld. They just rubbed the frame after that.

I rub a heck of a lot with 33x12.5s. I'm running eibach/5100s with an ARB bumper with winch in front. Thinking about tubing my firewall soon.

    lol

for the record if I ever go back to 33's it's probably going to be 285's. The narrow tires suck in the sand out here unless you air down like crazy.

With the bumper and skids, I was thinking I would have to go to the heavier coils anyway. These really don't have many miles on them I am sure I can sell them.

i normally dont do this but at least im not starting a thread about it......
    285/75r16 or 33x12.50r15
the 285s are gonna cost like $300+ more than the 33s. but i think i want to keep the 16" rim size.... even though im gonna buy new ones
