    Desert running this weekend... they perform great! But we stuck 7 out of 10 trucks in including 2 4x4 's the 3rd 4x4 pulled all of us out.

    Hey guys, has anyone noticed rust building up? Specifically on the top of the spindle? I also got some right under the MT LOGO. ITS THE TOYOTA CURSE!

    There is a layer of mud on both my UCA's and spindle...I'll wash it tomorrow and see what's underneath the mud...

    Yeah maybe your right...I still only see rust spots on small portions of the spindle I scratched lightly or came scratched roughly, extremely far from the entire thing, maybe I'll rust oleum the top 5 inches that you can see only!

    Yeah thats what i was going to do. My ebtire top flat surface has it and its starting to spread so im sure it wil be covered sooner or later. Not a big deal, just want to stay ahead of it.

    Most of the flat surfaces I noticed on the spindle were sheen metal..ie sanded or ground, and they all have surface rust on them. Obviously the coating that's preventing the rest of the spindle from rusting is not on those spots, oh well.

    Oright, Just ordered my maxtrac spindles. Tomm. Gonna order some adj. Billies from down south. The Expo leaf pack w/ Ubolt flip and ext.brake lines should be here in a couple of weeks (backorder), and my ext. 5100's for the rear should be here in a couple of days!!! Gonna set the billies at .85 with stock coils. I am thinking maybe at 1.75 but don't want a huge bro lean...what do yall think? as for the rest I should be good to go

    Do yourself a big favor and go ahead and order the "center pin" spacer from the website floating around here for $5 shipped and install prior to pitting the expos on, save some possible future heartache. With Billy's at 1.75, you'd have .9" or more of bro lean, probably only barely noticeable.
