Random audio problems

well, since installing my system I've ran into some problems so i decided to include them all in 1 thread. I'll keep it point form to make it easier.

1-Either something is wrong or I just hate my dual 10 supercrewsound box, setup is an saz-1500d and 2 sd-2 10 d4's. I've tried with and without polyfill with no real difference in sound. the box is within .2 cubes of recommended size with no polyfill. it sounds good at lower volumes, but low end ouput is just terrible and moderate to high volumes, they get to a certain point, then i stop gaining output but it seems way too early. im coming from dual 12 inch type r's in 5 cubes slot ported and those would just get louder and louder.

2-my saz1500d is mounted between the subs and there wasent enough room horizontally so i had to mount it vertically which puts the power/ground terminals VERY close to the floor, so much so that the wire has to be bent at a 90 degree angle and likes to pull out from the terminals. I was wondering if they make any kind of 90 degree connectors ( im using 2/0 welding cable btw) only thing i could think of was a 1/2" copper plumbing fitting and jam the wire in both ends and fill with 90/10 solder? or is that just a bad idea?

3-if theres no solution to #1 (i might do this even if there is) im going to try build a ported box for the back to sit on the seat in the middle and house either a 10 or 12" sundown zv3 does anyone have any plans i can use? im no pro box builder and i will probably just use the program on RE's website, i used it for my last box and it sounded great. what would be the best sub/port orientation on the box? sub firing up or 45'd towards the windshield?

You ran into the ouput limit. 1 type R ported would probably as loud or louder than the pair of these sealed. And use lots of stuffing.

I doubt you can find any 90* adapters, but several companies make power wire reducers, you may be able to find something.

can you move the amp up at all? Or run the power wire into a distro block, and use a short run of 1/0 wire to get it to fit?

I would probably 45 the sub and port toward the front, for aesthetic reasons.

Sounds to me like your gain is too high. Same problem I had with my current setup. My gain is at like 1/4 right now and I don't peak out until about 40 out of 50 on the volume knob. You might have high output voltage on your head unit, which I've noticed some people never account for, your gain should be low for 3-4V outputs.
