& don't mind me... anyone here can tell you I rant, I rave, I yell, I swear, I drink, I smoke, I walk around mumbling to myself & am ,in general, ignored.... Did I leave anything out Albert ???...

Well I got a handle on the gas thing, but there is that nasty habit of shooting thyself.........

& ya know, you're about the fourth girl that has joined TW in the last 2 days & I think thats great !!

I dont know what you like to do with your truck (offroading, street truck, etc But I will say its to your good fortune that you are in what is probably the most active region (not only in SoCal) in entire forum, lots of trail runs (most our group is in Ocotillo right now for the weekend) meet & greets,BBQ's,etc;

 

It's an '05 prerunner with a 6.

Wish it was 4x, but that was out of my price range.

I grew up in a the High Desert Jeep Club and spent a lot of my summers out at the Hammers, but that's also out of price range right now.

I also ride a CRF450X so this is a good desert truck for me.

Ya know, I'm starting to think about a trans. swap, seriously, my truck would've been up & running by now & for at least half the cost of rebuilding the auto, dude , quotes up to $3300 for a complete rebuild,

absolutely fucking insane they are if they think I'll ever pay that much for a rebuilt anything!! ya know, nuts...

Dude, whats up with gas prices?

 

Like up about 30 cents since week before last, I dunno, same old shit

I hate the spot market & any greedy motherfucker connected to it, (I think they call it the "futures market" now ) serious, there has GOT to be some kind of special hell for them

I would definitely NOT take any 2wd's that direction Doug. It's wet and pretty rough right now. You'll be doing a lot of pulling and tugging. Unless you like that sort of thing.

Oh hell no, not coming up TDS, & def. not after a rain, that whole trail goes Dr.Jeckle/Mr.Hyde on you , really gets nasty, how'd the Rubi do on the Peak ? You have to really watch your ass on that one, even the bypass's are chewed up pretty badly, when we went up it in Aug. there had been definite "trail building" going on, someone or someones had gotten a little sideways on the hill & slid into one of the shallower ruts
(about 3ft.) & from the tire bites in the dirt you could tell he was real close to going over & if you started rolling on that bastard you KNOW it'd be 3 or 4 complete rolls before you stopped

 

Long holiday weekend. I'm glad I filled up midweek.

 

That used to be my truck. Damn things change. Doesn't look like that now.
