Just curious as to what you guys think of the new chrome wheels on the 2012's.
I was at the steelership this weekend and saw some on a Barcelonia Red TRD Sport and thought they might look different with some beefier rubber. Any thoughts or anyone with pics?

I have them and I think they are stupid. Just for the fact that a tire in the same size for a 16" rim cost $50 less. I am not digging the 18" bling. Its not a gheytarded sports car. Its a truck gimmie more rubber.

They do look awful blingy, Maybe they might look good on a Xrunner, but not the TRD package.

They're just plastic chrome covers, you can take them off easily. I think new wheel underneath looks much better once the plastic is taken off, but looks more like a sports car wheel.. not a trucks.

lol wow. I think they look pretty out of place on a tacoma by the way, as others have said, too big and too blingy.

Not hub caps. You can't even tell these are plastic covers without tapping on the wheel...my truck came with them. Most auto manufacturers are going to this because they are far more durable then chrome plated wheels when it comes to corrosive winter salt etc. It does sound "cheapy" but you can't even tell.

This has been stated before, but they are chrome covers, which is not worth the upgrade price

I don't like them. Then again, I dislike chrome in general. Only chrome wheels on a truck I like are the 20's on the Ram Sport. They look good on those trucks IMO.
