    Not married.
    I am game for just about anything but jail. :D
    I need to try some killer BBQ while i am there. I have never been to Texas, so i am looking forward to getting some good grub, since it is on the company!
    I like the fact there are as many guns in TX as their is in MT!! So i should be right at home.

    Go to the 6th St bars, the strip clubs are great because they are full of college girls "working their way through school", and good BBQ is pretty much everywhere. If you are bringing your truck you will be pretty close to some good wheeling also.

    Campus is going to be a 7 minute cab ride from downtown. If you don't feel like going all the way to downtown one night, a real good bar near campus is the Crown and Anchor. It's got a very eccelectic crowd, i.e. not just a bunch of college douchebags. they have lots of good beer on tap, and you can even bring your dog. Be sure to try Live Oak Brewing's beers, as well as Real Ale Brewing. they are both local to the Austin/Blanco area.

    A lot of the 6th street bars are fairly shitty and full of douchebags. Good for getting hammered but not much else.

    If you like blues music, visit the Elephant Room on Congress and 4th. Stevie Ray vaughan played there.

    The Salt Lick is great, but its 45 mins south of Austin, in Driftwood. Figure on a 1-3 hour wait on a weekend night. But you can bring a 6 pack or even a keg into the waiting area.
