Dry the board off good overnight, or use a hairdryer to dry out the shots if your in a hurry. Make sure you scrape off all the little bits of base hanging around the shots. Buy a $1 stick of ptex. Apply till the shots are "mounded" in with the ptex, usually takes 3-4 applications before this point letting each layer dry as you melt it in the shots. Take your waxing iron after the ptex is dry and smooth out the ptex using the tip of your iron. Use your wax scraper to scape off the ptex that has been spread out with the iron. Wipe excess ptex off your iron, and wax your board. Enjoy.

Ptex might come out after a few days, so reapply as needed, making sure you scrape the little ptex gobs remaining out of the shots before applying fresh Ptex.

Gotta pay to play, core shots are a pretty common thing for me and I have perfected taking care of them:cool: Today was a good powder day on Teton Pass FWIW.

Thanks for the input, I ended up buying a new board because I was going to be up there for the next 2 days. But will repair this board and ride it Early/Late season.

Wouldn't be easy to do , but if someone knew what they were. Doing they could make something sweet.

that would be sick for sure! i feel like it would be a good investment for you...the hardest part i think would be fine tuning the designing and getting down the process of making it though

    just saw your other post..

have you looked into materials? Its definitely a lot more work than building your own skateboard deck or surfboard.

I'd suggest taking a tour of a snowboard factory if you're really serious about making boards. If you can do it, more power to ya. I'd love to see any info about it that you've found.

fairly common for a snowboarder to break wrists, for skiers its knee injuries.
