You are correct...there are a ton of TSB threads...but maybe all the questions will eventually get answered. ;)

The springs will settle somewhat even if you don't toss anything in the bed. When I did mine I gained about a solid 1.75" in the rear...after it settled its down to about 1"

the tsb raises the truck about .5", so it only looks slightly taller than one without it. i don't have any pics of mine, but it's only slightly higher.

get it done, you won't regret it the least bit. think about it, you're getting a new suspension put in paid for by toyota. DO IT!

Easy answer...you WANT it lifted. Set the front at 2.5 and get the TSB done. If you don't like the look once it settles, buy a 1" block or add another leaf. Either option is under $80.

You either get your preferred lift for nothing more or you spend a little extra money. It's cheap either way.

Phantom X...where did you get your TSB done? Was it in the Columbia area? I still have time and no real need yet but I was looking for a no non-sense dealer who will do it without question.

    Thanks

I got it done @ Jim Hudson Toyota about six months ago. My Service Advisor Chris Tudor is cool as hell...I'd recommend going to him. Tell him "Kareem" sent you...he'll have no prob setting you up with the TSB

The dealership quoted me $189 PER SIDE for installation. I told 'em they're crazy and they said "call around...it's the going rate". I was only curious as I have a friend that will do it for me.

Look for a small ring ding body shop somewhere. You may be able to haggle with him and get it done for $100 total.
