Had this truck about 6 or 7 weeks now, after the first 3 days I ordered some custom license plates that will say -- HRD TACO --
I liked my old custom ones so I wanted some for this truck too.

In less than 2 weeks I've done some pretty good off-roading that put a CD sized hole in my bumper, a little gouge, scratches from the tree's and my battery came loose at one point and took out my headlight (fixed now)

Needless to say, my hard taco is not so hard :ohsnap:
    :p:
    SO

I've been looking around constantly (not getting much sleep cuz of it either) :pccoffee:
Anyone got any ideas they wanna throw at me to make this truck bad-to-the-ass?

    So far I'm thinking:
    Doug Thorley long tube headers,
    All- Pro Bumper W/Wench,
Satoshi style grill with light bar behind it.
    Sleepy eyelids,
BHLM or some CCFL Eagle eye projectors,
    3.5'' cam burg lift,
    demello sliders,
    33's,
and maybe some more cool lighting.

    Oh yeah :)

Until the mods are done sounds like you need plates that say crunchy taco, lol. Add some skids, sliders & rr bumper to the list. The grill/headlights won't make it any harder so save those for last & please, for the love of God, just do 500.00 retro HID projectors or you'll hear advice, sermons, scoldings and seminars about how everything else is junk.

Ha man I LOLed when you said crunchy taco ,knew that was coming.
Thank you very much for this advice, It has swayed my opinion. I gotta say I really liked those ccfl's because they were different and looked kinda cool but something told me they're not great quality, in build and performance.

What would you say to a demello 3 hoop bumper? I like that it's lighter and a unibody design but Im also a sucker for anything that looks like it could be used to mow down some zombies :burnrubber:

Look at my sig pic...I have the gen 2 ccfl's. I was being sarcastic about them because anytime anyone mentions them in any thread it queues up the everything sucks and your killing people with anything other than FXR or DS2 projectors in oem housings cult. Anything else sucks balls and you'll be blinding everyone and causing wrecks and don't deserve to be on the road. Mine are still halogen and they don't leak and they don't have same lighting as 500.00 retros but they cost me 100.00 and have way more than 1/5th the lighting of the retros, are just as bright as my oems were and blind no one. I do that with my hideously bright, search light, fry bugs, scatter light everywhere, blind no one, 35w HIDs in my fogs. There, got the light preaching in before they got here, lol. Oh, wait, don't do HIDs in your fogs either. :D

I prefer the look of the single hoop fr bumpers but if there is lots of brush that you would be frequenting then yes. Protection from possible animals hits would be another yes. If you like it better then yes.
