Brakes

During the first 70k miles the brakes worked very well. At around 90k, the original pads were replaced. At 120k I had the brake fluid flushed.

Occasionally when I brake it feels like there is no friction between the pads and rotors. If it rains when I am at work (the truck outside) my brakes work like they did originally for the first couple stops. I assume this is the accumulation of rust on the rotors that has increased friction.

So are my rotors glazed?

 

sounds like the pads may be glazed, amybe rotors too....to an extent. you can always pull the pads out and rough them up with some fine sandpaper and see what happens. doing that too, you'll be able to see what the rotors look like more closely.
