Hello everyone, new member here. Name's Tyler. This is my 3rd Tacoma and favorite so far. I have never been much into the forums but found this site extremely helpful in making my decisions for aftermarket mods. There is a wealth of information and I appreicate everyones knowledge, so thanks.

So I have had my truck a couple months now and making good progress.
I tore apart the cab, dynamatted the entire interior and added all the goodies to the factory head unit using a JL Audio Cleansweep interface. Ran JL door speakers and a couple shallow mount Fosgate 12's. The 12's are a bit much since there is a lack of proper airspace but I had em so I run em.

On to the outsde. I added a hidden winch mount with custom fairlead that I fabbed up at my shop. Tight fit but came out very clean. Tucked a Superwinch EP 9.0 in behind the bumper. Works great for now since a complete new bumper might be a ways away, they are not available and I dont think I want to build my own.
Made a set of rocksliders and powdercoated them to match the T|X Pro Wheels. They have a kickout and top filler plates with my logo, Pelfreybilt. Last name is Pelfrey.
Replaced the rear springs with a set of Dakars and Nitrocharger OME shocks. Left out the 3rd leaf for now, I like the heigth and the ride a bit better.
Up front I did Icon 2.5's with Icon Tubular UCA's. Set at appx 2.75" heigth.
Let me know what you guys think, I appreicate the input. Thanks all.

Not yet, just got finished them up. I expect there to be some buildup but its basically the same as the underside of the doors. Little extra wont hurt I suppose, its all gotta get washed afterward anyway.

I suspect the real issue will be when they are muddy and she gets it all over her pants since they stick out farther than the door. Definately an ass chewing in the future.........

Very nice Tyler. Wow. You've got yourself a build already. No time wasted. That is a very sweet ride. ^ Very customized winch to a factory bumper. Welcome to TW and greetings from the south bay. If you've got yourself a shop here, I'm guessing you've just earned some business from the locals.

Thanks Albert. It's been a busy month or so for sure. I do have a shop here, I don't own it but manage, always willing to help folks out though. We do mostly aerospace and defense work but have a weld/fab side so we can do just about anything. Makes it nice for me, thats for sure.

Nice truck. Those wheels with aggressive tires and on a lifted Double cab short bed looks sweet.

Funny, I never thought about that. Actually I am a big duck hunter which is where the name comes from.
Congrats on your truck, sounds like a nice canvas to start with.
