i just had to get all three of my pulleys replaced, the bearing in all of them went out in my 07, and it was all under warrenty =). i have been through some mud not too much , but they said it caused it. I was wondering has anyone else had issues with there pulleys or they start sounding bad after off roading or is there any way to clean them specially?

Nope. I've driven through 12+ inches of water, 8+ inches of mud and have washed off over an inch of mud caked to the underside of my truck. I blew out my front differential which they replaced under warranty (with a different version), but no pulley issues. I have over 42k on my 06 now.

They probably just saw mud and tried blaming it on that. They couldn't PROVE the mud did it so that's why they did it under warranty. If they could, then chances are they'd say you were abusing the truck and not warranty it.

Nothing over here, I am so lucky. My truck is the best. :D

NP. I make sure I pressure wash the truck before going to the dealer just to simplify things... You can't get ALL of it, but at least it's better than driving in with 2" of mud caked over the entire underbody and up the doors. :D

    Clean under the hood?

I guess you could pressure wash it.... I've only done that once after an oil filter leaked and sprayed the whole engine with oil.
