I would look at doing billies all around with the ome 885 springs up front and if you don't load it down put icon aal in the rear. That way all your lift is done with the springs and don't use the shocks to lift at all. Call Sonny at DSM they carry everything and ship cheap.

I'll have to look some more then . I know the ome springs are longer so it will lift the truck more but then I might need ucas for 3 in. I know you said you don't need them but knowing my luck, I'll install the lift and then need them and have no money tp buy them lol. I can still get 3 in with billes and shocks. I would just need top spacer. I would rather have the billes and eibach and have a 2.5 in lift and then when I have the money later on get ucas and put on the top spacer thing

I think Miguel means he was instructed because that combo adds to a little bumpier of a ride. Not positive I'm an idiot haha. Just what I've noticed on TW world. Any lift will give you a bumpier ride then stock though but that's why we have trucks.

Sorry sent from my iPhone in class... Hopefully it makes sense :D

Most lifts will be stiff on the road untill you break them in and sag a little bit out of them. The procomp stuff rides like @#$&. They might have some higher end stuff idk. But they usually have to high a spring rate the shocks are also valved stiff. Depending on what shocks you get they could also be hydro instead of gas. You want your spring rate to be as close to stock as you can if you want a good ride. IDK about your second gens but 1st gens have a #450 spring stock. On mine i went with a 500# spring i ended up getting a tad less lift but it rides really well. Like others have said i would just go with eibach or something that you can get the spring rate you want with an adjustable shock.

So since lifts are the topic...

I just got back from vacation and installed my toytec 3" lift (bilstein adj. 5100s with coils on front and bilsteins with 2" aals on back). My buddy and I put it in yesterday.
Let me start by saying I was a little reserved about spending $900+ on a lift. But to have the coil overs come all put together was a huge time saver. We started around noon and after going for a ride to find some bigger sockets (both of us went to wal-mart and realized we both forgot our wallets!) and drinking a 12 pack, I pulled the truck out around 5pm. The whole time I was anxious to see how much of a difference it would make. Everyone says "you'll regret it" or "your trucks gonna ride like shit". The truck looks soooooooo much better. I drove it home last night and drove it around today and the thing rides better than it did before! No shaky steering wheel, no significant vibration, and I haven't gotten an alignment yet (going in tomorrow). I put the front diff mount spacers in that toytec provided. I'm no mechanic by any means and the worst thing that happened yesterday was shearing two bolts that came off of the skid plate. All in all I'm very happy I spent the money I did and really surprised at how great this lift is. It goes to prove you get what you pay for. Now I need to save for some tires (not sure if i want 265s or 285s). And wouldn't rims be nice. Maybe I'll paint the stock rims for now (all out of $).

I'll have some time after the alignment tomorrow, so I'll take some pics and post them soon.

I went with 265s and noticed a loss of a few MPGs (I get about 16 MPG w/ Winter Gas)....I would imagine 285s would be a lot worse.

    Look forward to the pictures.
