yes I want them close and not sticking out 4+ inches from the side of the truck I promise you if some one other than a lifted truck opens their door into the slider it's going to be a bad day for them. The stick out about 2" past the sides of the door

Hmm I see, what about the kickout? Is it sticking out enough to push away from the tire

I went with ecgs, and they were far cheaper than having a local shop do it, plus they have a great warranty. They gave me a break on the core charge so I could keep my front clamshell as a spare too, even with that included it was cheaper than JT's.

I got a smoking deal on the sliders and rack. Rack build start the day after the sliders get welded on
