Yes Matt. I agree. There may be a little bumpsteer. But my kit is new and we jumped it a lot this weekend and I felt none.

 

My kit has all the upgraded parts. New pivot bolts as well. They looked pretty beefy to me

 

Im still running the kit they made me in 2008, so no, but I had KR weld straps for me around the pivot. I am getting their new arms in March.

 

That photo and the updated bolts are for 2nd gens. They dont offer the bolts on 1st gen kits unfortunately

i got some OE tundra bolts, they're the same size as the taco bolts, but are grade 10 and i just checked them all the time. but i dont have the stock spindle anymore

 

How many years of back ground experience do you have in owning a built truck, let alone riding in them? I don't have much yet but I do know that's a bold statement to make.

This is a serious problem, Engage cut some corners and could potentially kill someone. The way I see it, they need to make some drastic changes and recall their work. I'm not going to change the subject since there are still kits out there and some of you have them.

 

They did: any Engage customer can bring their arms in to have them modified and reinforced due to that incident, free of charge.

New arms are of different design, due to that incident.

 

I believe they are camburg specific, we've been using these on all the kits we have done of late and they're a huge step up from anything else out there.

Because I was at KR the next day after the incident posted on TW getting my tire carrier done and Kenny just offered to do it for free. Kenny and KR Fab is really awesome.

Ahhh so it was installed upside down and the weight was resting in the circlip. MJP2 did the same thing. So that is installation error, even less Camburgs fault
