Anyone into R/C?

Yea, my buddy landed his truck full throttle at the skate park and the rear tire sort of ran out from under the truck... took the a-arm with it.

 

Yep - it does. It will probably be this weekend before I use it again, so I'll likely run the Blitz tonight and then storage charge them both just to be safe. I'm a lot like you with taking care of my stuff - why not, ya know?

The track for the Nitro Challenge looks awesome

 

The t4 uses a ball diff. SC10 uses a gear diff. I would do a ball diff swap, get some cvd's and you'll be good to go. Those 4 poles are nasty (in a good way! haha)

 

The SC10 RS and FT use ball diffs and cvd's. Mine's just the RTR though. I plan on driving it till I break those parts, and upgrading.

This years Nitro Challenge is gonna be nuts, they have a track for 1/5th scale, 1/10th scale and 1/8th scale

Hey guys, a scx10 just popped up for sale by me he says its a built kit not the rtr, has a xl5 esc. 17t reedy motor, tamiya f-350 highlift body, axial 2.4 radio, all aluminum links 2 sets of wheels and tires and a custom made trailer for it.

What would you guys say it worth?

 

Is that 17t brushed or brushless? The 17t reedy radon that came with my SC10 took a shit after about a month or two.

 

I don't think my vision is good enough for me to even make slow lap around that.

The torque you're getting out of that motor is awesome. I'm hoping mine ends up running something like that.

 

Most likely brushed since the truck has the xl5 esc.

 

If its brushed whats it worth? He sent me videos of it pulling his kid on the trailer, he said $300 for it all If its a good deal ill pick it up

 

it has a lot invested into it... it would cost you double that to build one yourself...

 

its incredible dude. and this motor runs cooler than my vented tacon motor. and even after 3 packs the toro esc is still cool to the touch. This system is VERy efficient. I love it.

What compound tires?

 

soft. i can do it with medium too. i dont have any hard compound tires though. only medium, soft, and super soft
