    Doesn't Lakeside Cafe sound too predictable...? Everything's in a name so it should have power, anigma, and draw with a bit of ambiguity.

    One of the BEST coffee shops in the LA area is called INTELLIGENTSIA. That name has nothing to do with its location, what it serves, or what it does, but its a power house in the cafe' work here in SoCal.

    I didn't put two and two together from your original post, but now that you said where it is, I know that place. Ate lunch there last year when I was in the area. Damn good sandwich too. Sucks that the previous owner closed up shop. Whatever you decide to name it, you should think, not just about what's catchy to the locals, but what'll trip the trigger of the knuckleheads coming up from Bozo on the weekends. Gotta give them a reason to come back in there since it's tough to really see it as they're driving by. The locals will come through word of mouth if the food's good and priced right.
