Hey guys, new to the site looking for some input.

Have been looking around for a tacoma for a little while and I think I found the one I want, what do you guys think?

2007 Tacoma 4x4 access cab V6, TRD sport, 110,000 miles. Called the dealer and tried to sweet talk him on price, but he would not budge. Comparing with other tacos in this area the price seems fair. Still would like your expert opinions? Will be first Toyota ever, hopefully a decent deal.

Welcome! With that mileage and price I'd say yes but be patience and you'll find your perfect taco with lower mileage unless that doesn't bother you.

My first thought is that seems a little too much $ for that many miles.

2007 and 110k. I don't know about that. These dam TACOS hold their value and I have a 2007 with 60k on it.

It's not even a real TRD sport!
It has most of the parts, like scoop, wheels, and color matched bumper, grill, mirrors

but the giveaway is no sport seats and no steering wheel controls for the stereo.

Whoever owned the truck spent a lot of time making it look like a sport but missed a few key parts.

REALLY! I would not been able to tell (so many options on these things) are you sure that this is not "factory made" seems like a whole lot of work to build the TRD?

Thanks for the input so far guys...

First off, of course he will budge. Dealers never list anything for what they will take. They list it hoping to catch a sucker. Once they figure out that you love the truck your bargaining power is gone. You could get it for 14 if you played it right.

With that many miles it has to have seen a lot of highway driving! The wear on the truck may not be bad at all, but you have to look closely to confirm that. Look for maintenance records, signs of neglect, signs of a wreck, etc. If anything looks funny, walk away and wait for the next one.

A well maintained and cared for Tacoma with 110K is not an isuue, BUT, you can ruin a truck in 110K too! There is a good bit of maintenance due at 100K. Make sure that was all done or you'll have that bill.

Mileage is not really bad for me, round here everybody has trucks and drive the shit out of them, 110000 on a 2007 = average. Although Ford, Chevy, and dodge are king here. You guys are convincing me that this is not a deal. Glad and Sad that I asked. haha

I will have to check for that. Do Toyota's come with maintenance books that are supposed to be stamped by the service dept.

In the description it says TRD off road package. The decals say Sport. Also there is no mention of a rear locker which would be included in a OR. Good luck

I would say it's an OK deal, just not at the asking price. Every deal is a good deal if the price is right for what you get.

    K. So it is definitely a true TRD sport. Thats good had me nervous when he said it wasn't.

Will $14000 to $14750 be better? That is what I will offer and if he don't take it walk away?

^ i'm not going to sell mine as I baby this truck. I love it and can't picture trading it in for any other truck right now. I do want to pair it up with a new 2013 red Acura NSX!

^ I think $15k is fair with the miles on it. Its 4x4 and you have to make sure everything works. If he never used or serviced the 4x4 with those miles. You're in for a nightmare.

Make sure its a clean title and why he made all the cosmetic changes.

I honestly feel you can get a better deal if you wait. You can snag a double cab trd 4x4 with much lower miles for around 16-18k. Access cab for around 15-17k. You have to wait and jump on the deal. If you have a certain color in mind. It might take more waiting. If its silver, white, or black. Then you don't have to wait that long.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
The price is right, but you could find one with lower miles for that price, I would pass on it and wait for something else to come along.
