Got Hankook RF10s mounted on the wheels, and tried them on today:

Radial clearance with the 4-piston caliper on TRD trucks is just over 1/8".

Depth-wise clearance is plenty. Inside-mounted balancing weights clear without problems.

Plenty of threads exposed, so extended-thread lugnuts are not necessary.

Standard 13/16" hex lug nuts will fit, but socket clearance is tight. I will be using McGard 3/4" hex lug nuts and locks come spring.

Thank you for posting your photos. =) Thank you for illustrating that brake, suspension and body clearance is no-issue with these wheels.

As for lug nuts, we usually recommending a spline drive tuner style type of lug nut to get plenty of socket clearance.

Thank you for reminding me. I usually clarify that, but I missed it on that last post. I edited my previous post.

My dad has a set of Chambers on his 5-lug Jeep. You will save about 15-20lbs per corner by switching to the Countersteers. ;)

One other thing: the TPMS sensors from my stock TRD alloys leaked around the stem seal when installed in the Countersteers. The tire shop ended up putting in replacement sensors which had a fatter stem seal. Anyone else had this problem?

One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
i just had the tire shop put in rubber valve stems. they told me something similar. something about the hole in which the tpms or valve stem goes through was drilled in a different part of the shoulder for all four wheels. said one or 2 of the wheels they could make the stockers work but the others wouldnt. so i decided to just leave the tpms in the stock wheels and run rubber stems.

What year Tacomas do you guys who are having problems with the TPMS have? So far this is the first I've heard of it, but if it's a problem I want to talk to Konig and get it resolved.

Also, Toyota, Schraeder (TPMS and valve stem manufacturer) and DOT do recommending replacing the washer, rubber and / or grommet every
    time you remove the TPMS.

There is a torque spec for TPMS sensors too. Is your tire shop using a micro torque wrench that reads in inch pounds?

TPMS are very trick, and they can be a giant pain in the butt. Feel free to PM me or post if you guys need more help.

If I were to get new tires mounted to these wheels then balanced and aligned on my truck, would the average shop be able to swap the TPMS sensors with no problem? Or is this something a toyota dealership should do? What's an estimate for an added cost in having them swap them from my stock wheels to these wheels?

An average shop can handle it no problem. I would say that 90% of the people who have these wheels have had them installed at an average shop. If you want some pointers or a check list to go over with your shop I can provide you with that with your wheels too.

I believe most shops charge somewhere between $15 - $35 per wheel depending on the type of shop and where in the country you are located. In my opinion the average price for a good dependable shop using all the proper materials and procedures for swapping over tires and TPMS sensors should fall in the $25 - $30 per wheel range.

It's really not a complicated procedure. It just requires someone who takes their time and cares about the job they are doing.
