Are you saying get the spacer so the center pins longer for shims/blocks can be added later?

Yeah I'm gonna get some black spray cans and hit the spindles and rear leafs before installing just to be sure. I did notice the Maxtrac black coating does not fully cover every inch of the spindle.

I was going with spindles until I saw how much the front wheels are pushed out. 3/4 inch sounds like nothing but I want the front wheel completely inside the front fender. The tire flush with edge of fender is fine so it looks like I will need to go with C/O's and UCA's to get the look I'm after. oh well....

Your limiting yourself to a specific BS of wheel and a specific size/width of tire and a less AWESOME lift type due to your desire to keep the tires completely in the wheel well. If you try and run 285's, I'm almost positive they will stick out regardless, because if they don't you'll rub the UCA.

Anyone got some GOOD pics showing how much the wheel sticks out with a 16x7.5 wheel with 4.5 BS and a 285/75/16 tire with the spindle lift?........MAYBE I will change my mind........LOL

Your going to compromise quality of ride just because your don't want to stick out roughly an inch more each side (Backspacing + spindle). Think about what you're having to do to accomplish a lift using COs... you're going to have to preload them. So now you've spent 1k or better on COs so you can preload a 600lb coil which is going to give you a stiff ass ride. And I'm assuming since you mentioned UCAs, I'm guessing your going to go 3" of lift. At this rate as far as I'm concerned you will have completely wasted your money.

    Here’s what I'm thinking
Spindle = 2" additional track, roughly 4" lift, and bone stock ride all for around $600. Perfect, all pluses in my book!

CO and UCA = 3" lift at best, stiff ass ride, and stock track all for around $1800. Not sounding that good to me.

    Just my 2 cents

The setup front and rear is front: Eibach springs with 5100's set at 0, the drivers side maybe 1/2" up do to the lean. And rear is All-Pro Expo leafs.

I started Friday night and broke everything down to just the stock spindles maybe an hour that night. Then Saturday the hardest part was the brake lines. They are stripped now I had to use channel locks. Im pretty upset about that but they arent leaking and work good. I finished after about 6-7 hours total.

The rotors dont like to come off but there is one bolt that holds the ABS sensor and it works to thread in and pop those off. The the Hub if you unscrew the 4 bolts that hold it in and make sure they are lined up on the lugs it just falls out.

Dude trust me I am not a big fan of 3/4 of an inch pushed out either. BUT, to get the "tall" look that I want I have to give and take. Plus, I have a three inch pro comp lift on here now. Looks great however, rides like crap. You can't get the height and have a great ride without spindles. But if you want I'll sell you my whole pro comp kit...coilovers, shocks, and AAl for 200$. I'm changing out the whole thing. And dude you can't tell me NFS's truck don't look shit hot bro.

    1. No

    2. If you have stock wheels youll need the spacers, if they're aftermarket with <=4.75" BS you won't need them.

I think it depends if your alignment #'s are within reason w/o UCAs but I'd say no most likely.

I went with LR UCA's when I put my Pro comp lift on beacause the LR UCA's are adjustable. The reason why they recommend new UCA's at 3" is because it throws your geometry so far outta whack. Spindles however, still keep your geometry the same as stock. Thats why you can use stock everything up front. Now if you wanted to you could still go with the 3" lift but you would net 7"s. WOE milly. New UCA's are not required for spindle lifts but if you really wanted to you could get new ones. LR are a very good maintenance free UCA IMO.
