not sure why they stopped making them in the first place. A local shop i go to sells 4130 and it seemed that those were the only thing he ever sold lol

he changes each season and comes out with new crap, stores like no fear buy it. i miss his old shit from like 07

 

A while back I decided not to support 4130 or fatal clothing. They feed to the flat biller market which I don't want to be part of. But im glad they found a way to make it big and make it mainstream. So more power to them.

Mdr Cali 200, someone in a swb taco with a tc kit had a c clip fall off and the spindle separated from the lca. He was only doing 25-35 went happened.

 

Anyone do corner weight balancing on their trucks? The more I think about how much time our trucks spend with the wheels off the ground, the more I think getting each corner balanced will help with obtaining the most equal dampening out of our shocks.

Also, I see a lot of 2nd Gen tacos nose diving during jumps, so I think some weight distribution can help.

I searched around and one of those scale sets are over $1000. Any thoughts?

move shit around. Aim is to get 50/50 front/rear/left/right with full fluids, passengers, equipment, etc.

 

I think that's a really good idea.

 

X2 may be hard but would help in many ways, speed sections, air time, flying through whoops, hard cornering etc. Even just better than stock distribution would help.

 

For racing

 

seems like a lot of work for a DD truck... go for it aaron. be a pioneer

 

I think your biggest issue is the tank. If you get a fuel cell and move that to the center and rear it would fix most of the weight issues

I may and or may not have access to a set of those, we use em for weighing aircraft. But it would definitely take alot of fineagling to "borrow" from work.

 

Just knowing what my current weight distribution is will help me decide where to put tools, equipment, fuel jugs, dogs, bitches, booze, etc.
