Why would you want to put a 7" lift on a 4 cylinder, it's not like that thing is going to turn 37" tires easily.

    You ain't kiddin'! :p

who cares if he wants to jack it up in the air? maybe you guys would never do it but to each his own. 4 bangers can have their fun too!

Back to Op, I'm not sure how you would go about achieving 7" of lift, may have to go custom fab..

u can get a 6" lift for them. u would be surprised what the 2.7L will turn for tires with stock gears. i have one with 34" ltb swampers and those tires r heavy. i wouldnt do 37's but maybe a wide 35 and u would have plenty of flex room so no rubbing. i will look and see where i saw that 6" lift and let u know

some idiot at my school had a 98? 4 cylinder that had 10+" lift on it with 37" Mickey Thompson MTZ's. Gayest truck ever. i think it had a 6" differential drop lift, 3" spacers up front. out back, it had two sets of blocks stacked and probably something else either AAL's or bigger leaf packs. And it had 2 or 3" Body lift. you wanna talk about dangerous.

Procomp makes a 6 inch...I'm not sure if you can stuff a 1/2" spacer in there to get the extra inch you want.

I'm kinda with the guys who say it's going to load your engine/tranny/driveline pretty heavy. I'd hate to put all that dough and time into a lift like that to have something break or just make the truck bog down.

no, he was running wide offset wheels and wide tires. I bet the steering components loved turning those big mt's!

Im under the impression that you have a 2nd gen and a 6cylinder. I'd suggest a 6" Fabtech and 35's which requires alot of tirmming. If you want "huge" alot of people go 6" suspension and 3" body lift which allows 36's with trimming, but I would'nt recommend it.

Sell it and buy a PreRunner and put a 3 inch on it cause thats prolly as equivalent to 7 inches on a 5 lugger.
